• Q: IS THERE A CALL OUT CHARGE?

• A: No, there is not a call out charge.

• Q: IS THERE A MINIMUM CHARGE?

• A: Yes, the minimum charge is £35 (For the first hour)

• Q: Do you stock any items?

• A: Yes, we carry a wide range of fixtures and fittings (Wall plugs, screws, tap washers, ball valves, pipe repair kits, toilet siphons)

• Q: Do you have all the tools needed for the job?

• A: Yes, we have a large selection of hand and power tools, larger more expensive tools can be hired locally at a reasonable cost (floor sanders etc)

• Q: What methods of payment do you accept?

• A: We accept cash, cheques and online bank transfers. Account facilities can be arranged for local businesses.

• Q: Can you give me an idea of how much the job will cost?

• A: Yes, we will give you a good idea of how much a job will cost over the telephone, otherwise we can take a look at the job and give you a quote in writing.

• Q: Are you available for emergency call-outs? (Burst pipes, broken windows etc)

• A: Yes, we will try our hardest to get to you within a few hours of your call.

• Q: Do you carry out commercial work?

• A: Yes, we work for local businesses, pubs/clubs/bars, letting agents, estate agents, homes for the elderly and schools.

• Q: Do you work with gas?

• A: Unfortunately no, you have to be Corgi registered to work with gas, currently we are not, but can recommend a reliable qualified tradesperson who is.

• Q: What happens if the job is more involved than originally thought?

• A: We will give you a quote before we start any work. This gives you the opportunity to think about it. If you decide not to go ahead with the work you will not be charged. We will always keep you informed of costs throughout the job.

• Q: Are there any jobs you can't do?

• A: Yes, a few. We will let you know straight away if we can't do it. Larger jobs such as roofing and big building jobs we would much rather leave to the relevant tradesmen. Ask us to recommend someone. We know reliable, honest people in all trades.
